You've heard of the use-it-or-lose-it maxim? This is a concern for financial bureaucrats. If they don't dispense (keep them working) the funds allotted to their agency - they could lose some or all of it (including their jobs.) Depending on economic or political conditions, various government agencies will compete with each other or with commercial lenders. The latter are always competing with each other which is why we are advised to shop around for loans.
In your continual search for financing it may be difficult to imagine that lenders have a constant challenge of dispensing (getting rid off) their money.
Often, this will cause a change in loan criteria or selection of recipients. Changes open opportunities for borrowers. Doors that were closed yesterday could be open today. Keep your ears to the ground. Sign up for any of their newsletters.
It pays (pun intended) to re-visit the lenders. If your visits appear too frequent, contrive a change in your own situation to explain your return.
Stories from members will add great value to these maxims.
