Know where to reveal your success. More importantly, learn where NOT to reveal your success.
People on limited and fixed incomes tend to resent the fruits gained by a successful entrepreneur.
Employees without a thorough knowledge of the relationships within an Income and Expense Statement will resent, envy and misinterpret the distribution of the bottom line. Education will only go so far in explaining the distribution.
Most people fail to appreciate the conversion of sweat capital to cash returns and the many benefits you have distributed to others from gross revenues.
Your fellow entrepreneurs, on the other hand, will fully appreciate your good fortunes and will admire you for your accomplishments. Some will even help you to gain more now that you have proven your worth.
Be well aware of the types of people with whom you can reveal your fortunes. Be modest in your display.
