How often have you detected the signs with your 20/20 hindsight? Did you say, "The signs were all there – if only we had paid attention to them."
Practice sharpening your senses. Observe behavior patterns and body movements, look for double meaning in certain or repeated words and ask more questions about the activities of others. Write down your predictions based on these indicators and, later, check the success of your predictions against related outcomes.
Instead of watching detectives on TV, play detective in your real life. Remember to remain under cover. It's fun.
