This is a good thought to keep in mind WHENEVER you divulge business matters to ANYONE.

Assume someone has bugged your conversation and are posting it to the internet as you speak. Saying it is confidential is just a signal to some people it's good gossip they will be happy to pass on. It will enhance their reputation as a person with inside information. When you suspect someone does divulge confidential matters, plant a story with one person that has a clear identifier in it so you can recognize the source when it gets back to you.
