It's easier to make money with higher quality products or services than with selling lower-priced and lower-quality products or services in volume. This is an oft repeated recommendation for small retailers faced with competition from the big-box retailers.
Don't underprice your product just to get business.
Offer higher quality and, then, continually raise prices as your credibility and acceptance increases. This, of course, assumes there is sufficient demand for quality in your marketplace.
Maintaining quality may place a limit on the growth of your enterprise unless your quality can be constant while your business grows.
Blend this strategy with your other marketing strategies.
