No! This was not intended for inclusion in our Mental Health unit. It's a critical idea to keep in mind for many events throughout your day.

As Peter Drucker said, "The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn't being said."

Just as you search a packing slip to see what is not there, you soon discover how critical it is to scrutinize other documents such as reports, quotations and contracts with the same objective.

Arithmetic students in grade school learn the functions of a zero. A skeptical student learns it's value as a place-holder when the teacher offers to pay $1.00 for the student's $10. In addition (no pun intended), they learn the value of zero represents nothing but it is as important as any other digit.

Any parent knows when your child says, "Nothing," it could mean a lot.

The astute businessperson realizes nothing is important.
