The Japanese call this the Circle of Goodness. The Golden Rule says to treat others as you would have others treat you. Paul in his farewell to the Ephesian Elders reminded them, "it is more blessed to give than to receive." To imitate Martha Stewart we can say, "All this is a good thing."
On some days of operating a business we are hard pressed to think good thoughts. The very act of doing good stimulates the thoughts that contribute to your mental health for those days.
On the flip side – doing bad will earn its just rewards. Check on your outgoing messages.
Always remember that kindness will go a long way, especially at home. Be good to your spouse, children, and employees – you will end up being very kind to yourself.
