When you visualize yourself as a hammer, everything else will appear to be a nail.
It's either a strut, a squaring of the shoulders, a tone in the voice or all of these that make some people appear to be a hammer. They drive a point in with a minimum of words. With a low volume their voice is heard as though it were as loud as thunder.
Acting classes will have students imagine themselves as various objects or animals which they impersonate.
Until you develop finesse people are apt to ask you why you're acting like a hammer. Practice will affect your disguise.
