We first heard this expressed as, "If you don't have moments of doubt, you're not doing it right." We questioned the wisdom of this statement because it did not reflect our experiences. We thought we did not experience these moments of despair. Yet, the thought remained until we began to recognize and recall our own moments of doubt. We had them. They were just pushed out of our consciousness.
It seems our optimistic entrepreneurial zeal was erasing the moments of doubt from our memory.
Now we welcome the moments of doubt as evidence (a) we are challenging ourselves enough and (b) we're forging ahead by recognizing and ignoring setbacks for what they are, without crying over spilt milk.
We invite you to join us in welcoming these signs of progress.
