Do you have a fear of being labeled as a Time Management freak by your associates?
Do people say to you, "I don't want to be so obsessed with Time Management that I can't enjoy life!"
Perhaps you are taking this thing too seriously. For beginners - this is common. Perhaps you are introducing your Time Management too abruptly. (See "Baby Steps" in related topics.)
View the adoption as a game. When you spot areas for improvement, make it a game where you compete against yourself or the clock. You'll feel great at each little victory.
Be benevolent and humble to colleagues who don't emulate your regime. To strive for excellence in Time Management is YOUR choice. Why impose it upon others?
One of the greatest gifts you can give to a loved one is the gift of your time. Manage your time so you can bestow this gift more often. Discreetly display to your loved one how much the value of your time is to you. This adds to the value of each gift. Why not widen your circle of "loved" ones?
Savor the praise you receive as each one of your areas achieves "Expert" classification from others. When they marvel at your accomplishments, suggest they contact Uncle Max.
Avoid feeling upset when things don't go smoothly or according to plan. Refer to the Mental Health section for tips on controlling this type of feeling.
BE A SMOOTH EXPERT RATHER THAN A FANATIC!
The phrase, Circle of Goodness, is a translation of an old Japanese saying. It is a philosophy of giving good thoughts and deeds to others. The circle means these good things will eventually be returned to you.
